Bhujodi, a small town few kilometer southeast of Bhuj, is a major textile center of Kutch, with the vast majority of the inhabitants involved in textile handicraft production. The Vankars of Bhujodi are primarily involved in cloth weaving. Bhujodi sarees are more recent interpretations in similar styles as the shawls.
